Anitua Hardware is the only hardware store on Lihir Island, catering to the needs of Lihir Gold Mine, large and small local businesses and individual customers.  The store stocks a wide range of hardware goods, including whitegoods, tools, furniture and gardening equipment.

Over recent months Anitua Hardware has expanded its range of products to meet customer demand. Plans are now in place to introduce even more new product lines, These new lines will be purchased in Australia, direct from manufacturer where possible to ensure that we remain competitive in the market place.

Shortly, we will see the arrival of two extensive ranges of well known and respected power tool brands, along with all the required accessories. We will also see a range of tool boxes to suite any requirement, from the 'around the home tool box' to the 'on the back of the truck' tool box, High pressure water blasters, concreting equipment, welders and consumables, workshop quality tool kits, and BBQs will also soon be available. We're well on track to providing a hardware store that the people of Lihir can be very proud of.

Another excitiing project currently being assessed is one where we would make certain product ranges available for hire on a daily basis, for those one off jobs that don’t merit the investment of purchasing equipment outright.
