Anitua Retail Supermarket was happy to support the Marahun Eagles Rugby team.

The team participated in a week-long Nimarmar LLG Games, on Lihir Island, that commenced on Monday 27th July 2022.

The Supermarket assisted the team with food rations. The team was happy to receive the rations on Sunday 26th June 2022, before the Games kicked off on Monday this week.

Anitua Retail is grateful to the Marahun team for helping us out at the shop on Sunday, unpacking containers and stocking up the store shelves.

“The support is all about giving back to the community because the Supermarket belongs to the community. It is owned by the landowners,” said Retail Manager, Tracey Soupa.

“This is a small start to many more initiatives we are planning, as part of the Anitua Retail Supermarket’s community service.”
